10:30 a.m. 3. SITE APPROVAL APPLICATION NO. SA-01-65 OF <br /> JF JOSEPH 3 ANN MEHRTEN. A Site Approval application for a Bed <br /> and Breakfast Inn to accommodate eight (8)guests. Located on the north <br /> side of Buena Vista Avenue. 4800' east of State Route 88, Clements <br /> (APN: 021-190-10: Address: 21941 East Buena Vista Road, Clements). <br /> Jeff Fisher. Associate Planner: Mrs. Ann Mehrten. owner; Steve Dalton, Fire Prevention/Building <br /> Division also representing Clements Fire Protection District were present for this item. <br /> Mr. Fisher introduced the project. <br /> Mrs. Mehrten indicated that she thought the striping for the parking places \vas an unreasonable <br /> requirement because the parking area was in brick. Mr. Martin thought that the striping issue <br /> could be disused. and possible eliminated. <br /> Mrs. Mehrten questioned the handicapped parking requirement. Mr. Herzick checked the code <br /> regarding the liandicapped and only 4 parking spaces are required. <br /> Mr. Martin reviewed the Conununity Development requirements. <br /> Mr. Martin indicated to Mrs. Mehrten that when the Improvement Plan is submitted for approval <br /> it will need to show all the conditions of approval. <br /> Mr. Martin informed Mrs. Mehrten that the pavement condition has been satisfied. <br /> Mr. Martin informed Mrs. Mehrten that the striping requirement for the parking will be removed <br /> from the condition. <br /> Mr. Martin informed Mrs. Mehrten that the County of San Joaquin has an oak tree ordinance <br /> which only applies to Commercial projects. so it will now be covering this project. The location <br /> of the tree or trees will need to be shown along with the brick line_ and type of surfacing under <br /> the brick line. <br /> Mr. Norgard rovicwed the Eng u-onmental Health Departments neuro. Mr. Norgard suggest that <br /> Mrs. Mehrten give Mr. Greg Oli\C'ra of the Environmental Health Department a call regarding <br /> item C. of Public Health Scr\ick•s memo. <br /> Mr. Karam reviewed the Departnent of Public Works. <br /> Mr. Dalton reviewed Clenents Fire Protection District letter dated September 10, 2001. <br /> Mr. Dalton suggests that the Mehrtes contact Mr. Bob Zipf, Senior Building Inspector of the San <br /> Joaquin Count\' Conununity Development regarding the Clements Fire Protection District <br /> comments. <br /> 11:00 a.m. 4.
