Chemical analyses conducted'on soil samples obtained at the time of the tank removals reported low levels i+ <br /> "of petroleum hydrocarbons as referenced_to gasoline in native soils within the excavation',and higher.levels in <br /> overburden soil excavated from atop,and around the removed<tanks. <br /> The workplan proposed-by Dames&•Moore addressed twooptions foi"evaluatuig residual hydrocarbons at the tank <br /> -removal site.
