(Repeat) Witnessed 6 empty 55-gallon containers north of the hazardous waste storage area and 1 <br /> empty 55-gallon drum at the area without a date when they first became empty. Containers larger than <br /> five gallons that previously held a hazardous material shall be marked with the date they were emptied <br /> and managed within one year of being emptied. Immediately mark and manage all empty containers per <br /> this section. Submit a statement of correction and supporting documentation by 07/21/2013. <br /> 605 & 701. (Repeat) Witnessed the following containers missing hazardous waste label information: <br /> -Two 30-gallon drums and two 55-gallon drums of solid waste, with no start date of accumulation or <br /> unreadable start date of accumulation, and no hazardous property. <br /> - Two 30-gallon drums of aerosol cans labelled as hazardous waste, with no start date of accumulation <br /> - One 55-gallon drum of used oil (see Item 404 above) with no hazardous waste label <br /> - One 5-gallon bucket of spent lithium ion batteries, labelled as hazardous waste, with no start date of <br /> accumulation <br /> All hazardous waste containers shall be marked with the following information: <br /> 1. the words "Hazardous Waste" <br /> 2. name and address of generator <br /> 3. hazardous properties <br /> 4. physical state <br /> 5. composition (contents) <br /> 6. accumulation start date <br /> Immediately label these containers and ensure that all containers are marked with all the required <br /> information. Since these containers have been on site longer than 180 days, immediately contact a <br /> licensed hazardous waste hauler to dispose of this waste under manifest and submit a copy of the <br /> manifest to the EHD by 07/21/2013. <br /> 610 & 611. (Repeat) Witnessed two open 5-gallon buckets of used oil filters with no label or start date of <br /> accumulation. Used oil filters must be stored in a closed, rainproof container, labeled as "drained used <br /> oil filters," and marked with an accumulation start date. Facilities that generate up to one ton of used oil <br /> filters per year may store the filters up to one year.
