The lateral and vertical extent of the contamination was significantly greater than had
been previously estimated . As a result, PHS / EHD requested that the following samples which
were collected at depths below ground surface (bgs), undergo laboratory analysis .
Soil Sample Depths (feet bgs) Sample Depths (feet bgs) Sample Depths (feet bgs)
Boring TPH / BTEX Analysis Lead Analysis Oxygenates Analysis
SBI 109 20, 25 , 30 10, 25 10 , 25
SB2 (MW1 ) 259 309 35
SB3 20 , 30
SB4 (MW2) 201 30
SBS—TS,-20-923;3 2020
SB6 (MW3 ) 20, 25 , 35
The field observations of PHS / EHD staff, indicated that it was likely that additional investigation
will be required to determine the lateral and vertical extent of the soil and groundwater
contamination .
