PHS / EHD has the following comments for your consideration <br /> and response. <br /> The addendum proposed to drill and sample six soil borings , three of which will be converted <br /> into monitoring wells. The purpose of the investigation is to determine the vertical and <br /> horizontal extent of the contamination evidenced at the time of the June 15 , 1992 tank <br /> removals . Please note that it may be necessary to drill deeper than 10 feet below the current <br /> level of groundwater to determine the vertical extent of contamination . <br /> PHS / EHD has enclosed a copy of the drilling permit #13014 which was issued on July 10 , 1997. <br /> Please contact me directly when field activities are scheduled with Spectrum Drilling so that <br /> PHS / EHD can arrange for field inspections .
