Grantline will provide to Permittees, in advance of the investigation work, <br /> any existing maps, plans and other documents which Grantline has readily available, and which <br /> indicate the location of utilities such as telephone, gas, electric, water, sanitary sewer, and storm <br /> sewer lines. Permittees shall obtain at their expense any other data necessary from government <br /> agencies or private sources to confirm the location of utilities, or other subsurface structures, <br /> prior to any drilling activities by Permittees. Permittees shall be solely responsible for any damage <br /> to utilities or other subsurface structures arising out of the work. <br /> 7. Permittees and Chevron will provide to Grantline copies of all engineering <br /> reports, labdratory analyses, and other data arising out of Permittees' work. Permittees will also <br /> provide, upon Grantline's request at least one week in advance, split samples or any soil and/or <br /> groundwater samples to be obtained by Permittees in the work Chevron will provide to Grantline <br /> copies of all laboratory analyses and reports relating to any split samples obtained by Chevron's <br /> consultants. Chevron will also provide to Grantline, upon Grantline's request, copies of any field <br /> notes and other data prepared by Chevron's consultants regarding the split samples, but not <br /> reduced to a fommal report. <br /> 8. All information obtained as a result of Permittees' work shall be retained as <br /> confidential and may not be released by Permittees or Grandine to any other persons or entities <br /> without the prior written consent of Chevron, except for information required by law to be <br /> submitted by Permittees to any governmental agencies or unless a breach of this agreement by <br /> Chevron. <br /> 9. Permittees shall obtain any permits necessary from government agencies to <br /> conduct the work, and Permittees will be responsible for all costs for these permits. <br /> 10. Chevron will be solely responsible for all fees and expenses of Permittees in <br /> performing the work- <br /> -4- <br />
