The well is still in service. <br /> 'y <br /> MW-12: was installed on 16 June 1994 and is still in service. <br /> MW-13: was installed on 16 June 1994 and is still in service. <br /> ASW-1: was installed on 16 June 1994 and is still in service. <br /> V <br /> WELL ABANDONMENT <br /> NNW <br /> Monitoring wells MW-2 and MW4 at the subject site were abandoned on 18 October 1994 to allow <br /> for City of Tracy road expansion activities scheduled to begin on 28 October 1994. The need to <br /> abandon these two wells was confirmed in a Geomatrix 17 October 1994 transmittal to Granite <br /> Construction, a contractor to the City of Tracy Department of Public Works (City) for the road <br /> expansion. The well abandonment was conducted in accordance with the protocol included in the <br /> Geomatrix 23 February 1994 "Work Plan for Phase I Groundwater Remediation Activities" and in <br /> accordance with the EHD requirements. The well destruction summaries for MW-2 and MW-4 are <br /> attached. <br /> An encroachment permit and a well destruction permit(attached)were obtained from the City and <br /> EHD, respectively,prior to initiating field work. Geomatrix informed the City and EHD of the well <br /> abandonment via 14 October 1994 transmittals (attached). Underground Services Alert (U.S.A.) <br /> `r was contacted on 14 October 1994 (reference no. 335962). Well abandonment was coordinated by <br /> a Geomatrix engineer registered in California.
