1.1 Authorization <br /> Heliostockton provided project authorization for the Additional Assessment through a signed <br /> copy of Partner Proposal Number P17-191672.7 dated December 21, 2017. This Work Plan is the <br /> product of those efforts. <br /> 1.2 Purpose <br /> According to the CVRWQCB, the primary purpose of this Work Plan is to describe the activities <br /> proposed to further evaluate the identified impacts beneath the Site, establish a groundwater <br /> gradient beneath the Site, and to investigate the potential impact to soil as a consequence of a <br /> release or releases from the historic service station operations. This Work Plan includes a Site <br /> Health and Safety Plan (HASP) within Appendix A. <br /> 1.3 Proposed Activities <br /> The proposed activities presented in this Work Plan are summarized below <br /> • Advance three borings (MW-1, MW-2 and MW-3) on the Site using a hollow stem auger <br /> (HSA) drill rig to a maximum terminal depth of 35 feet bgs for soil sample collection and <br /> monitoring well installation; <br /> • Advance three borings (1312, B13 and 1314) on the Site using a direct-push drill rig to a <br /> maximum terminal depth of 15 feet bgs for soil sample collection; and, <br /> • Conduct two rounds of groundwater monitoring and sampling following the installation <br /> of monitoring wells MW-1, MW-2 and MW-3. <br /> Additional Site Assessment Work Plan <br /> Heliostockton Property <br /> 434 Dr.Martin Luther King Jr.Boulevard <br /> Stockton,California <br /> Partner Project Number SM17-191672 <br /> RWQCB Case#:392004 <br /> January 9,2018 <br /> Page 2 <br />
