NRC E quity Fund 1
5 . 0 NOISE MITIGATION STUDY
The purpose of a Noise Study (Exhibit 8) is to document the impacts on sensitive noise
receptors in the vicinity of the planned NRCEF operations . An analysis was performed to
show the noise impact on each of the locations individually to ensure that none would
experience noise impacts greater than the County- mandated limits . To ensure specificity
the location of 15 adjacent or contiguous properties have been used as reference points
for the analysis and the loctions of each are identified below.
►'
_ r
; i
4 1 _. - , ` - " _ ..tet • .C
i I -
The results of the NRC Noise Impact Analysis are summarized below based on the
calculations in the Section titled Noise Impact Analysis. An Inverse Square Law for Noise
was the basis for the calculations . The projected noise levels shown below represent
calculations made based on the distance of the sensitive receptors from the noise source .
1 . 05132010 - 1 ,457 Feet 9 . 05132013 - 1 ,088 Feet
2 . 05132006 - 2,028 Feet 10 . 05132011 - 743 Feet
3 . 05132007 - 1 ,955 Feet 11 . 05131032 - 15364 Feet
4. 05132005 - 710 Feet 12. 05131049 - 1 ,410 Feet
5 . 05129031 - 900 Feet 13 . 05131051 - 1 ,471 Feet
6. 05129006 - 961 Feet 14. 05131046 - 1 ,625 Feet
T 05129005 - 1 , 139 Feet 15 . 05132003 - 1 ,238 Feet
8 . 05129023 - 1 ,500 Feet
Page 20 54
