KLEINFELDER
Tanks T2 T3
Kleinfelder sample numbers 61094 and 61096, and 61098 and 61099 were collected from
' borings B-1 and B-2 respectively at tanks T2 and T3 The laboratory reported that sample
numbers 61096 and 61099, collected from the bottoms of borings B-1 (18 vertical feet
below ground surface) and B-2 (15 vertical feet below ground surface) respectively
contained both extractable TPH and purgeable TPH Sample number 61096 (B-1, 18 feet)
contained 589 and 25 mg/kg of extractable TPH (reported as kerosene) at 330 mg/kg,
purgeable TPH (reported as gasoline) at 589 mg/kg, and xylenes at 25 mg/kg respectively.
Sample number 61099 (B-2, 15 feet) contained extractable TPH at 70 mg/kg and purgeable
TPH at 42 mg/kg respectively. Samples 61094 and 61098 did not have detectable
extractable TPH or purgeable TPH concentrations above the laboratory reporting limit
Of the BTEX constituents, only xylenes were detected in sample 61096 above the
laboratory reporting limit Sample numbers 61096, 61098, and 61099 were reported to
contain lead at concentrations of 6.6, 5 5, and 5 6 mg/kg respectively These reported
' concentrations are significantly below the California Code of Regulations (CCR), Title 22,
Section 66699 Total Threshold Limit Concentration (TTLC) of 1,000 mg/kg, and well
below ten times the Soluble Threshold Linut Concentrations (STLC)
A summary of the analytical results is presented on Table 1 A copy of the analytical
laboratory report is included in Appendix C.
FR25-91-29 Page 8 of 11
' Copyright 1991 Kleinfelder,Inc
