Section 4 <br /> Project Organization <br /> The project organization for conducting the investigation and source removal action at Rough <br /> and Ready Island is described below. <br /> Program Manager: The program manager is Ronald J. Chu, a registered Professional Engineer <br /> (P.E. 34472). Mr. Chu has a Bachelor's degree in Civil Engineering and a Master's degree in <br /> Environmental Engineering. Mr. Chu has over 17 years of experience in site assessments, <br /> remedial designs, and remedial actions for hazardous waste projects. The program manager is <br /> responsible for the following activities: <br /> • Establishing and maintaining communication between the USACE, Defense Logistics <br /> Agency project manager, the project team, and all regulatory agencies <br /> • Managing all project activities and subcontracts <br /> • Providing necessary resources and guidance to the project team and subcontractors <br /> • Providing the USACE and DLA with all project deliverables. <br /> Project Manager: The project manger is Heather Benfield. Ms. Benfield has a Bachelor's degree <br /> in mathematics, a Master's degree in Environmental Engineering, and over 4 years of experience <br /> in site assessments, underground tank installations and removals, and remedial actions for <br /> hazardous waste. The project manager is responsible for the following activities: <br /> • Providing the resources to the project team to allow adequate response to project <br /> requirements <br /> • Providing technical oversight over the duration of the project <br /> • Ensuring timely completion of the project <br /> Rough&Ready Island 25 Tetra Tech,Inc. <br /> Revised Draft Work Plan November 18, 1998 <br />
