• Frequent communication with the program manager with regard to day-to-day progress of the <br /> field program. <br /> • Ensuring timely completion and consistency of work products <br /> Field Manager. The Field Manager is Nisha Barisal. Ms. Barisal has a Bachelor's degree in <br /> Biology, a Master's degree in Environmental Engineering, and over 5 years of experience in site <br /> assessments, remedial actions and investigations, and underground storage tank removals and <br /> compliance evaluations. The Field Manager is responsible for the following activities: <br /> • Providing on-site field supervision and technical oversight for the removal action <br /> • Ensuring that procedures detailed in the project related plans are followed <br /> • Monitoring of the labeling, shipping, and control of potentially hazardous samples and <br /> materials <br /> • Frequent communication with the project manager with regard to day-to-day progress of the <br /> field program. <br /> Ms. Barisal will also be the Site Health and Safety Officer (SSHO) and will be responsible for <br /> the following: <br /> • Ensuring that all site safety requirements are adhered to by the field personnel, including all <br /> subcontractors <br /> • Ensuring that field equipment (OVA) are properly calibrated and maintained <br /> • Assessing field conditions and the appropriate personal protective equipment to be worn <br /> • Providing instrument monitoring <br /> Rough&Ready Island 26 Tetra Tech, Inc. <br /> Revised Draft Work Plan November 18, 1998 <br />
