<br /> 6.1 DPE SYSTEM OPERATIONAL AND ANALYTICAL SUMMARY- 2010
<br /> During 2010 (December 9, 2009 to December 14, 2010), the DPE system (GWE and SVE
<br /> combined) was 67% operational (248 out of 370 days). The system shut down on August 28th
<br /> due to the failure of one of the oil-water separator transfer pumps. The system was
<br /> reconfigured without the first oil-water separator and restarted on October 4th. From November
<br /> 16th to November 19th the DPE wells were closed during pilot testing. On December 6th the
<br /> system hour meter was found to be functioning intermittently so it was removed and replaced.
<br /> 6.1.1 DPE System 2010 Analytical Summary - Groundwater Extraction
<br /> The GWE component of the DPE system removed approximately 908,310 gallons of water from
<br /> the subsurface and adsorbed approximately 4.64 pounds (0.76 gallons) of TPHg, 1,023 pounds
<br /> (142.5 gallons) of TPHd, 731.3 pounds (96 gallons) of TPHo, and 0.05 pounds (0.01 gallons) of
<br /> TBA throughout 2010 (below). No measurable amount of benzene, or MtBE was removed
<br /> during this time period.
