The EE will be responsible for tracking the types and amounts of <br />hazardous substances stored for greater than one year. <br />6.7 Approved Chemical Materials List: Update and Maintenance <br />6.7.1. No QBR employee or vender shall purchase, bring on-site and/or receive any <br />chemical material which has not been approved for receipt at the QBR facility by <br />the facility's EE. <br />6.7.2. It shall be the responsibility of the originating requestor to formally request review <br />and approval of any new and/or non -approved chemical material prior to <br />purchase or receipt of the material in any quantity. <br />6.7.3. The originating requestor shall submit to the facility's EE, a Chemical Material <br />Review and Approval Request Form for any new and/or non -approved chemical <br />material and will provide the following documents and/or information: <br />1. A current MSDS for each material and/or product. <br />2. Requestor name/identification (employee and department). <br />3. Narrative description of application, including: <br />a. Function (i.e., cleaning, machining, painting, etc); <br />b. Process/operation description; and <br />C. Amount required per application. <br />4. Type of waste(s) generated from specific application: <br />a. Waste description (i.e., liquid, solid, mixture, inert material <br />contaminated with waste material, etc.); <br />b. Amount generated per application; <br />C. Hazardous or nonhazardous; and <br />d. If hazardous, does the application create a new wastestream, or <br />does the waste contribute to an existing hazardous wastestream, <br />and if so, what is the QBR assigned hazardous wastestream <br />identification number. <br />5. Material application justification (i.e., new process, cost savings, single <br />source item, etc.) <br />6.7.4. Upon receipt of a Chemical Material Review and Approval Request Packet <br />(request form and product MSDS), the facility's EE or designee will do the <br />following: <br />1.
