DRAFT
storage, transfer areas covered by the SWPPP; and
X Reviewing the facility's past year's operations to determine if any
additional areas should be included in the SWPPP.
During CSCE the compliance evaluation team will:
X Visually inspect material handling areas, storage areas, storm water
drainage areas, and other potential sources of pollution for evidence of
pollutants entering the drainage system;
X Review the previous year's program documentation (i.e, observation
reports, weekly inspection reports, storm water test results, employee
training records, and spill response reports);
X Evaluate the effectiveness of control measures to reduce pollutant
loadings and determine whether additional measures are needed;
X Observe structural measures, sediment controls, and other storm
water BMPs to ensure they are properly maintained and operated; and
X Inspect any equipment needed to implement QBR=s BMPs (i.e, spill
response equipment or storm water sampling equipment)
The description of potential pollutant sources and storm water control
measures may need to be revised, based on the results of the CSCE. If
necessary, the site's SWPPP will be revised within 30 days of completing the
CSCE. Changes in the control measures will be scheduled for implementation
within 90 days of updating the SWPPP.
The results of the CSCE will be documented in a report signed by an
authorized QBR=s SMP Coordinator and will be made a part of site's
stormwater program documentation. The report will summarize inspection
results, identify any incidence of non-compliance, and describe the follow-up
actions.
The Annual CSCE Report will also identify any SWPPP revisions which have
taken place during the preceding year. The report will include:
X Scope of the evaluation and audit;
C:\TEMP\SMPREV2.doc Section 1-30
