Leprino is expediting abandonment of these wells due to plant expansion construction <br /> activities. <br /> hi an 18 September 2000 phone conversation with Mr. Robert Garcia of Leprino Foods, he stated that <br /> MW-1 and MW-12 are in the loading area, which will be converted to a silo clean room. Consequently, <br /> the wells will be inaccessible for sampling and abandonment because silos will cover the wells. <br /> Therefore, I agreed with Mr. Garcia that the wells should be abandoned. Based on data that will be <br /> presented at the 13 October 2000 meeting, replacement or additional wells may be needed at the site. <br /> The work plan is hereby approved. I may wish to be present for well abandonment activities, so please <br /> notify me at least 72 hours prior to abandoning the wells.
