Site Investigation Work Plan Q
Country Market [C
10476 West Linne Road, Tracy, California a ntea g ro u p
Antea Group Project No, CTRVMKT
I
Concentrations of GRO were reported at 3.5 milligrams per kilogram (mg/kg) and 530 mg/kg in soil samples Tank-A
Z
9' and Tank-B 9', respectively. Concentrations ICyl
trations of total enes, toluene, and ethylbenzene were reported in sample
J Tank-B 9'at 3,750/kg, 27.7 Wand 226 rrg, respectively. No other constituents were reported above
laboratory reporting limits in sample Tank-A 9' . No constituents were reported above laboratory limit in samples
Tank-A 3' and Tank-B 3'.
Benzene was not reported above analytical reporting limits in any of the four soil samples collected during removal
Ali of the USTs.
Based on the information reviewed at the SJCEHD for the onsite domestic well, depth to groundwater beneath the
site is greater than 100-feet bgs. .
4.0 SITE ASSESSMENT WORK PLAN
i _
4. 1 Proposed Boring Locations
Antea Group proposes to advance a maximum of five soil borings (SB-1 through SB-5) in the northwest portion of
J the site near the former USTs. The proposed boring locations are shown on Figure 2. The actual number and
. locations of the borings will depend on the location of the site's surface and overhead utility lines.
A licensed C-57 driller subcontracted by Antea Group will advance these borings using dual tube direct-push
drilling equipment. Based on the documented depth of the tank bottoms and previously collected soil samples, the
'four borings surrounding the former UST pit are proposed to a depth of 15-feet bgs and a fifth boring located in
the center of the former UST pit is proposed to a depth of 20-feet bgs.
- Prior to drilling, the driller will clear each borehole location to a depth of 5 feet bgs using hand augering
1 equipment. Upon completion of sampling activities, the borings will be backfilled with neat cement in accordance
I with SJCEHD requirements and the surface will be capped with black-dyed concrete or cold patch asphalt to match
JJJ the existing surface.
l, ] 4.2 Pre-Field Activities
Prior to initiation of field activities, Antea Group will prepare a Health and Safety Plan (HASP) in accordance with
l Title 9, Section 5192 of the California Cade of Regulations. Field personnel will perform a daily review of the HASP
J containing a list of emergency contacts as well as a hospital route map to the nearest emergency facility. Antea
_l Group will obtain the necessary boring permits from the SJCEHD. Antea Group will contact Underground Service
Alert (USA) and contract a private utility locator at least 72 hours prior to the Initiation of field activities to identify
II`J 2
I r
