The wells will be located at a greater distance <br /> from the former tank site than ttie previous well locations and include a well'ofd'site to the <br /> .East. Soil borings and hydropunch type sampling will also be conducted off site to the <br /> east to better define soil and groundwater limits (Figure 2). The pump will be removed <br /> from the domestic well located at the north west corner of the house and a locking service <br /> box installed over the well casing. This well will be sampled at least ''once and the <br /> elevation measured and included in the gradient calculations. This well', will be kept <br /> available as a groundwater monitoring.well for gradient purposes but will not be included <br /> in the quarterly sampling events unless impacted by the petroleum compounds. <br /> I <br /> Laboratory soil samples will be taken from all borings at five foot intervals) including the <br /> capillary fringe. A minimum of ptwo soil samples from each boring will be selected for <br /> analysis based on odor, discoloration, and previous findings by the registered professional <br /> in order to demonstrate a clean'l lateral interface. All other samples will l e held by the <br /> laboratory pending the results of the first samples. <br /> I� <br />
