The EHD directed that the work plan for the installation of a soil vapor
extraction (SVE) system previously approved by this agency, and the work plan for the ozone
pilot study be submitted to the EHD by 30 September 2012.
To date, the EHD has not received either work plan. You are now directed to submit both work
plans to the EHD within thirty days of the date of this letter. Also, if monitoring wells MW-9,
MW-10 and MW-11 have not been surveyed, do so immediately.
In Semi-annual Monitoring Report - November 2012, dated 11 March 2013, your consulting
firm, Advanced GeoEnvironmental, Inc. (AGE), has recommended that monitoring wells MW-4,
MW-7, MW-9 and MW-11 be redeveloped to remove sediment accumulation. The EHD
approves the redevelopment of these four wells. Continue collecting groundwater samples
semi-annually from MW-1 through MW-4 and MW-6 through MW-8; and annually from MW-5,
and MW-9 through MW-11 and analyze all samples only for total petroleum hydrocarbons as
gasoline (TPH-g), methyl tertiary-butyl ether (MTBE) and tertiary-butyl alcohol (TBA).
Please contact Vicki McCartney at (209) 468-9852 or by email at vmccartneyP_slcehd.com if
you have any questions concerning this letter.
Sincerely,
-l/!it l/.'1-—
Victoria L.
