Page 7 <br />(Overview): Document states that "Onsite Electronics Recycling is proposing to <br />provide a program to recycle all electronics products regulated by <br />SB -20 as well as any as any additional electronics requested by the <br />County. <br />Please provide information showing the types and the daily <br />quantities of a -waste to be received, dismantled, and transported. <br />Page 7 (Staffing): Document states "Onsite Electronics Recycling will provide two <br />full time staff members at the Lovelace Transfer Facility to collect <br />and dismantle electronics waste"...As needed, additional <br />subcontracted staffing will be provided to assist full time <br />employees". <br />Provide more details regarding staffing work schedule, include <br />hours of operation and provisions to handle unusual peak loading. <br />Chart on Page 7 shows average daily rate of electronics currently <br />collected. Need to address projected rates of collection and daily <br />traffic counts. <br />Page 8 (Training): Document states, "Each employee will receive appropriate training <br />in electronics dismantling, proper lifting techniques." "Onsite <br />Electronics Recycling will provide 40 hour OSHA training". <br />Please provide details of employee training program. Also, <br />provide site safety plan for handling of broken glass from CRT's. <br />Contact Kasey Foley, Lead Senior REHS of Unit III of the EHD, at <br />468-3451 on how to register with DTSC concerning the <br />Dismantling of CRT's. <br />Please submit the attached application for a TPR (RFI) amendment along with an <br />amended TPR to the EHD. The EHD shall then review the submitted documents to <br />determine if such amendments are the basis for changes in the permit. <br />Within 30 days of receipt, the EHD will then determine if the TPR amendments meet the <br />following requirements: <br />
