WELL INSTALLATION
Ground water monitoring wells will be installed to depths of 30 feet bsg and 50 feet bsg according
to function desire to monitoring the shallow and deep hydrogeo logic conditions encountered during
drilling.AGE proposes to install ground water monitoring wells to the northwest, north and northeast
of the center of the site's former UST area (Figure 3) to provide for repeatable ground water
analytical data to further assess the lateral definition of the impacted ground water plume. The pilot
borings will be advanced to total depth of approximately 30 feet bsg, with a screened interval of 15
to 30 feet bsg (Figure 4) with the exception of proposed monitoring well MW-7, which will be
advanced to a total depth of approximately 50 feet bsg with a screened interval of 45 to 50 feet bsg
(Figure 5).
2.4. SAMPLE COLLECTION AND ANALYSIS
Soil samples will be collected from both the pilot borings and the direct-push soil borings.
2.4.1. Soil Sample Collection and Analysis
Soil samples from pilot borings will be collected from within the hollow-stem augers at five-foot
intervals using a California split-spoon sampler and brass sleeves. Sampling procedures are
described in Section 3.L.
Advanced GeoEnvironmental,Inc.
