SAMPLE COLLECTION AND ANALYSIS <br /> Soil samples will be collected from both the pilot borings and the direct-push soil borings. <br /> 2.4.1. Soil Sample Collection and Analysis <br /> Soil samples from pilot borings will be collected from within the hollow-stem augers at five-foot <br /> intervals using a California split-spoon sampler and brass sleeves.
