The Facility Diagram (Figure A-2) shows the location of the AST, buildings,
vehicle fueling and critical spill control features.
The Physical Plant is located in the northwest area of the campus at 1082 Brookside Road in
Stockton, California. The AST site is comprised of approximately 0.1 acres of land on the
southside of the Physical Plant and is bordered to the east by facility vehicle parking, to the west
by open field, and to the south by an employee parking lot.
The Physical Plant includes a maintenance shop, equipment maintenance area, and vehicle
parking area. The Physical Plant area is secured with perimeter cyclone fencing and gates.
2.1.2 Petroleum Storage
Petroleum storage in the standby diesel generators consists of fuel tanks which are integral to the
diesel generator unit. Additionally, the petroleum fuel storage at the Physical Plant facility consists
of one 2,000-gallon Convault AST with internal secondary containment. All other petroleum
products used for vehicle maintenance and repair are stored inside the Physical Plant building.
The capacities of petroleum product storage containers present at the University and the Physical
Plant are listed below.
Table 2-1: Petroleum Storage Containers
Description
Fixed Storage
1 2,000 gallons
2 1,862 gallons
Portable storage
4 NA
Vehicles
NA
gasoline/diesel Aboveground Convault horizontal double walled
tank with two product compartments (1,500/500, respectively)
diesel Five (5) diesel generators with integral fuel tanks
of sizes ranging from 181 gals to 1,000 gals.
These are located at four different campus
locations — See Figure 1.
Total Oil Storage: 3,862 gallons
-10-
Version 1.0, 11/28/2016
