The following items are included in this proposal: <br /> TASK 1 - Work Plan Pre aration an!d Permittin <br /> ♦ Preparation of a drilling permit and permit fee. <br /> f <br /> ♦ Background research of the project. <br /> ♦ tailing the SVE/AS pilot test procedures. The Work <br /> Preparation of a Work Plan di <br /> Plan will be submitted to the San Joaquin County Public Health Services - <br /> Environmental Health Division (PHS/EHD). A Site Health and Safety Plan will also <br /> be prepared. <br /> ♦ The SVE/AS unit to be used is a VACLEEN 1000. GeoAudit has a various location <br /> permit for the operation of the VACLEEN unit. Therefore, no additional permitting <br /> should be required. <br /> l <br /> TASK 2 - Installation of Va or Extraction Well Air SpargiDg Well and Observation Wells J <br /> ♦ Drill a total of five (S) soil borings to install the necessary SVE, AS, and observation <br /> wells. Soil borings will be drilled using a truck-mounted, hollow-stem drill rig. The <br /> SVE/AS observation wells wilfbe completed in a nested well configuration or will be <br /> dual completed. Wells will be"completed in accordance with the requirements in the <br /> RFP. <br /> ♦ Sample borings at five-foot intervals. The samples will be logged in accordance with <br /> the Unified Soil Classification System and preserved in accordance with PHS/EHD <br /> i guidelines. r <br /> i <br /> ♦ Auger returns and soil sample duplicates will be monitored in the field for organic <br /> vapors using a photo-ionization detector (PID). Auger returns will be placed on <br /> plastic sheeting and stored ont site pending analytical results. <br /> soil samples.
