Chronology for former Stockton Scavenger Page 2 <br /> 1240 Navy Drive September 30, 2009 <br /> Stockton, CA <br /> 01/29/93 Public participation for proposed corrective action was initiated by the EHD on <br /> this date. <br /> 02/03/93 The three monitoring wells installed in 1988 were destroyed on this date. <br /> 02/4-26/93 Excavation of contaminated soil from the diesel and gasoline UST locations was <br /> performed during this time. 1.400 cubic yards of soil was removed. '400 cubic <br /> yards was not impacted and used to fill the excavation. 1000 cubic yards was to <br /> be remediated on site. <br /> 05/24-25/93 Monitoring wells MW1, MW2 and MW 3 were installed on this date (screened 29- <br /> 49). <br /> 07/20-26/93 Date 1133 cubic yards of contaminated soil was excavated from the diesel <br /> dispenser area to a depth-of 34 feet and disposed of at a landfill. <br /> 10/12/93 Monitoring well MW4 was installed on this date (screened 29-52). <br /> 04/94 Ground water extraction from MW2_began at this time and.continued until <br /> -December 1996. <br /> 06/17/94 The date of the Preliminary Closure Report prepared by The Mark Group. The <br /> report described the three areas over-excavated, provided the soil results from <br /> the final excavations, boring logs for MW1-MW4 and the soil borings completed <br /> in November 1992 and proposed soil vapor extraction and pump and treat for <br /> ground water contamination. <br /> 02/01/95 Groundwater rose above the top of the screened interval in the monitoring wells." j <br /> 11/24/97 The date of the ENSR Second Quarter 1997 Ground Water Monitoring and <br /> Remediation Summary Report;which contained monitoring and ground water <br /> pump and treat results. <br /> 04/28/09- During this time 5 dual-tube direct push borings and 3 soil vapor wells were <br /> i <br /> 05/01/09 completed. The soil and wate(samples were non-detect for contaminants. <br /> 05/12/2009 On this date the 3 vapor wells were sampled. <br /> 08/14/2009 Date the EHD received the Site Investigation and Case Closure Report prepared <br /> by AECOM Environment dated.August 2009. The report contains analytical <br /> results for the recent soil, ground water, and vapor samples collected. It also <br /> summarized the site investigation completed and remedial action performed at <br /> this site. A request for site closure and a work plan to destroy all wells were also <br /> included in the report. <br /> 09/09/2009 Date the CVRWQCB responded they would consider the site for closure. <br />
