■ Office <br /> General office safety is mainly a result of common sense All potentially hazardous or <br /> unsafe conditions that are seen in the office should immediately be reported to the <br /> Office Administrator In such cases, a Safety Inspection Report should be completed <br /> If a problem due to the office building is identified, the Office Administrator should <br /> consult with the Building Manager to resolve the problem If you are not aware of the <br /> exit doors in your office building, please check with the Office Administrator Be sure <br /> you are prepared in case of an emergency when a speedy exit is mandatory <br /> All work sites should be clean and orderly Be sure all combustible scrap, debris, <br /> paper and waste are stored safely and removed from the work site If liquids or foods <br /> have spilled, they should be promptly cleaned up <br /> Fire sprinklers and extinguishers are located throughout the building Be sure you are <br /> I <br /> familiar with their usage in ease of an emergency If a fire is not preventable by use <br /> of an extinguisher, evacuate the building immediately If the fire alarm is sounding, <br /> evacuate immediately <br /> iFirst aid kits are kept in the Supply Room of each office For work-related injuries <br /> that require a physician's attention, a company-appointed doctor should be used <br /> Check with the Office Administrator or Karen James regarding scheduling an <br /> appointment with a company-appointed physician, if necessary <br /> H&S-PLAN ADD Page 4 REVISED APRIL 1992 <br />
