December 22, 1994
92-1177103.80
NORCAL Waste Systems, Inc.
Attention: Mr. Larry Sweetser, Director of Regulatory Affairs
Subject: REPORT - Quarterly Groundwater Monitoring - November 1994
Stockton Scavenger Association Facility
1240 Navy Drive
Stockton, California
Page 2
■ Recording groundwater field parameters (pH, temperature, specific conductance, and
turbidity) from each well;
■ Analyzing the samples for total petroleum hydrocarbons as diesel (TPH-D), total
petroleum hydrocarbons as gasoline (TPH-G), and purgeable aromatic compounds
(BTEX); and
■ Preparation of this report which includes the results and conclusions regarding the site
groundwater quality.
Water Level Measurements
On November 1, 1994, MARK staff recorded water levels from monitoring wells MW-1,
MW-3 and MW-4. The water level was not measured in pumping well MW-2.
Static water levels in the monitoring wells were measured using an electronic sounder-tape
within a one hour period prior to purging the wells. The data was used to interpolate the
potentiometric groundwater surface at the site. Water level measurements for the current and
previous monitoring rounds are presented in Table 1. A copy of the recent water level
measurement form is attached to this letter.
