The Site Safety Officer will be responsible to ensure workers wear <br /> proper personal protective clothing. All personnel entering the site will <br /> sign the signature document at the end of this HSP, indicating they have <br /> read and accepted the health and safety practices outlined in this plan. <br /> A PID will be used to analyze total organic compound concentrations <br /> every 30 minutes in the worker's-breathing zones while workers are in the <br /> exclusion zone. The PID will be calibrated daily and results of the <br /> calibration recorded on ERM's Equipment Calibration Record. The results <br /> of the monitoring levels will be recorded on an ERM Air Monitoring <br /> Form. <br /> All personnel entering the site will exit at the same location. If <br /> decontamination is necessary exiting the site will include following <br /> decontamination procedures. There must be an alternate exit established <br /> for emergency situations. The em&gency exit is to be used for <br /> emergencies only- <br /> Despite protective procedures personnel may come in contact with <br /> potentially hazardous compounds while performing work tasks. If so, <br /> decontamination needs to take place. Standard decontamination <br /> procedures for level C and D are as follows: <br /> • Equipment drop; <br /> • Boot covet' and glove wash; <br />
