California <br /> Sierra-Pacific Project No.95-128.02 <br /> 2.0 SCOPE OF WORK <br /> J <br /> The scope of work for this phase of the project is described in Sierra-Pacific's January 11, 1996 <br /> work plan - Soil Sampling Work Plan, Cargill Feed Product Facility, Port Road No. 8, Stockton, <br /> California. In summary, the field work shall include completion of the following tasks: j <br /> 1. Field preparation activities. Obtain soil boring permits and contact Underground Service <br /> Alert (USA) to locate buried utility structures. A private utility finder will also be <br /> contracted to confirm the location of underground structures and piping. `3 <br /> 2. Bobcat@) drilling, hand-augering, and sample collection. Approximately 24 soil samples <br /> will be collected at the site using a Bobcat powered auger and hand auger. Samples will <br /> be collected and transported to a certified laboratory for analysis. All sample boring 1 <br /> locations will be properly backfilled with granulated bentonite. <br /> 3.
