the ozone systems, conducts quarterly groundwater monitoring, and prepares an annual
report to the RWQCB-CV.
At the request of TOC Holdings Co., ETG reviewed available Time Oil and STTC file
documents from the period 1987 to 2012. The results of the review revealed limited
shallow soil characterization data, as well as limited on-site groundwater quality data for
the intermediate to deep water-bearing zones at the former Time Oil terminal site. TOC
requested ETG prepare a work plan to further characterize the soil and groundwater at the
former Time Oil terminal facility.
This work plan presents the proposed additional soil and groundwater assessment,
associated soil boring and monitoring well locations, methodology for sample collection
and well construction, and methods for evaluating the soil and groundwater assessment
data. The May 1996 Guidebook: General Subsurface Requirements, Appendix B,
General Requirements for Site Investigations, prepared by the State of California, was
reviewed prior to completion of the Site Characterization Work Plan.
Site Chameteriration Work Plan,Final, May 18,2012
1007-012.002 1-2
