1 <br /> �k Stellar Environmental Solutions, InC. 2198 Sixth Street, Berkeley,CA 94710 <br /> Tel (510) 644-3123 •Fax (510)644-3859 <br /> Geoscience& Engineering Consulting <br /> April 30, 2001 <br /> Mr Daniel K Barber <br /> D K Barber& Associates <br /> 623 Camilla Way <br /> ' Lodi, California 55242 <br /> ' INTRODUCTION & SUMMARY OF FIELDWORK <br /> Stellar Environmental Solutions (SES) completed exploratory borehole and well <br /> installation field work for D K Barber & Associates, providing geologic support at the <br /> 1 "Tank Farm" investigation project site located at corner of Woodbridge Road and <br /> Highway 99 in the city of Loidi California The field work occurred on December 4, 13 <br /> and 15, 2000 The scope of the work implemented by SES for D K Barber & Associates <br /> included <br /> ■ Provide oversight during drilling and sampling by SES California Registered <br /> ' Geologist Fred Hayden and field geologist Henry Pietropaoli, <br /> ■ Geologic suport in the drilling 6 exploratory boreholes (original scope called for <br /> five), collecting soil samples for laboratory analysis and screening soil samples <br /> for contamination <br /> ■ Installing groundwater monitoring well MW-I to approximately 52 feet bgs <br /> ■ Preparing geologic logs for five of the seven boreholes, and <br /> ' ■ Completing this field work wrrteup <br /> ' D K Barber & Associates was responsible for determrmrig sample Iocations, depths and <br /> analytical methods, obtaining permits, utility clearances, coring concrete floor at drilling <br /> ' locations, managing investigation-derived waste, and all regulatory agency notifications <br /> and liaison D K Barber & Associates also geologically logged two additional boreholes <br /> ' (C-6 & C-7), for which the data were transcribed by SES onto our geological borehole <br /> log format <br /> 1 <br />
