Supplemental Investigation Report,Problem Assessment Report and Work Plan <br /> Cleanup and Abatement Order No 5-00-707 EAI Prosect No 1232 <br /> 5.7 Photographs <br /> Photographs of the site and sample locations will be taken during site sampling activities The <br /> photographs serve to verify information observed and completed at the site When a <br /> photograph is taken, the following information is recorded for each photograph <br /> • Date, time and location <br /> • Description of the subject photograph <br /> • Name of person taking the photograph <br /> 5.8 Management of Wastes <br /> In the process of collecting soil and ground water samples during the field-sampling program, <br /> potentially contaminated investigation-derived wastes (IWD) will be generated These wastes <br /> included spent personal protective equipment (PPE), soil cuttings and decontamination fluids <br /> Spent PPE, e g , gloves, will be double bagged and placed in a municipal refuse dumpster <br /> The soil effluent generated from installing wells and the liquid effluent generated from <br /> decontaminating sampling equipment and developing, purging and sampling ground water <br /> wells will be sealed in a labeled 55-gallon drum The drum will remain on-site, pending the <br /> results of the analytical testing of samples collected in the field, at which time an appropriate <br /> disposal method will be determined <br /> 59 Quality Assurance/Quality Control <br /> A Quality Assurance and Quality Control Program will be implemented as part of the <br /> investigation process The primary quality control features of the program include the <br /> collection and analysis of field quality control samples, and the validation of data Quality <br /> control samples collected in the field will include duplicate samples (equivalent to 10% of the <br /> samples collected and tested), trip blanks and equipment blanks Data validation will be <br /> performed and samples will be analyzed for the specified suite of analyses presented in Section <br /> 5 3 Data for each of the analyses will be evaluated in the following areas <br /> • Data completeness <br /> • Holding times <br /> Blanks <br /> • Laboratory control standards <br /> • Matrix spike/matrix spike or sample duplicates <br /> • Field duplicates <br /> 5.10 Health and Safety Plan (HASP) <br /> A HASP has been prepared for this project and submitted under separate cover to the RWQCB <br /> (see EAI, 2000) <br /> BS 1232P IRW_WP -18- ENVIRONMENTAL <br /> 1g- <br /> ENVIRONMENTAL AUDIT, INC <br />
