Weber Slough Channel through property and for one mile
downstream will be maintained to insure proper flow
capacities for both summer and winter run-offs . This is
to insure the prevention of on-site flooding and possi-
ble stream contamination.
d. Retention ponds will be constructed to prevent access to
water fowl. Covering or other mechanical deterrent shall
be included in development plan.
e. Separate ponding facilities will be constructed and
maintained to store run-off water and contaminated
water .
f . The waste oil recovery area shall be lined with a syn-
thetic liner and constructed of concrete . This area
shall be surrounded by a two-foot-high concrete berm, o
a berm of sufficient height to provide secondary con-
tainment for a volume of liquid 150 percent of the
capacity of the largest storage tank plus the 24-hour
storm water of a 100-year storm. (EIR)
h . The waste oil recovery concrete pad shall be designed so
that the pad is 1 -foot above the 100-year flood level.
( EIR )
i . The design of the concrete berm for the waste oil recov-
ery area shall be analyzed by the Department of Public
Works to ensure its ability to resist damage from the
hydrodynamic and hydrostatic forces associated with a
100-year flood.
