Ms. Stacy Rivera <br />San Joaquin County EHD <br />CCR 66266.130(c)(3) Failed to store used oil filters in a closed, rainproof <br />container labeled "drained used oil filters" and marked with the <br />accumulation start date <br />Following is the response for each violation: <br />Open violations from the March 18, 2015 inspection: <br />Ryder requires yearly training on hazardous waste management procedures <br />for all employees. New employees are to be trained immediately upon hiring. <br />Included as part of this response is the roster of employees trained at the <br />January 20, 2015 training and a copy of the yearly training components and <br />information specific to hazardous waste and emergency spill response training <br />(Attachment E). <br />The job descriptions for the following positions are included as part of this <br />response: Service Manager, Shift Supervisor, Tech -in -Charge, Customer <br />Service Coordinator, Technicians, Service Attendant. The service manager is <br />responsible for ensuring all employees are trained immediately upon hiring <br />and annually thereafter. Documentation indicating the type of training <br />required is also included as part of this response. (Attachment F) <br />- A copy of the response letter submitted to the agency on August 17, 2015 <br />addressing the issues discovered during the March 18, 2015 inspection is <br />included as part of this response. (Attachment G) <br />- Ryder location personnel have properly marked the empty container. A <br />picture showing the labeling is included as part of this response. (Attachment <br />H) <br />- Ryder location personnel have properly marked the hazardous waste <br />container. A picture showing the labeling is included as part of this response <br />(Attachment I). <br />Open violations from the January 9, 2014 inspection: <br />A contingency plan has been developed to include the following information: <br />o Actions facility personnel shall take in response to fires, explosions, <br />and unplanned release to air, soil, or surface water <br />o Arrangements agreed to by local police departments, fire departments, <br />hospitals, cleanup contractors, and state and local emergency response <br />teams <br />o Names, addresses, and phone number (office and home) of the <br />Emergency Coordinator and any alternatives <br />
