Transfer activities are attended by <br /> trained City personnel. <br /> Procedures and practices when transferring oil/petroleum products include: <br /> • Training for oil product delivery is to include instructions on avoiding damage to oil-containing <br /> AST pipes and appurtenances. <br /> • Oil product transfer operations are performed over an impervious surface (concrete pad), where <br /> feasible. <br /> • Prior to oil product transfer operations,the tanker truck brake is to be set. <br /> • Oil product delivery drivers or Facility personnel are to visually check tank fluid level before <br /> transfer. <br /> • Fittings and product transfer hoses are to be visually checked for defects and replaced if necessary. <br /> • Drip pans/buckets are to be utilized under the valve to hose connections. <br /> • Hose ends for ASTs are equipped with valves to limit spillage. <br /> +ice CONDOR <br />
