materials shall be tested to determine what the material is and will be disposed of properly <br /> as allowed under California law. Supervisor shall similarly handle any contaminated soil <br /> in HMHA#2. <br /> Step No. 8 - Laborers and operator of frontend loader shall remove all surface <br /> trash/non-hazardous materials and load them into the removal trailers. As the trailers <br /> become full, tractor drivers will remove trailers to Subcontractors(See Schedule #3) salvage <br /> facility for sorting and salvage or disposal. All trailers may leave the site only after <br /> authorization by Ms. Antolin or other designated Public Health Service's employee. Any <br /> hazardous materials discovered at subcontractor's facility shall be separated out and disposed <br /> of as per California law. During the removal by laborers, Supervisor and hazardous <br /> materials handlers shall monitor and inspect the operation for discovery of additional <br /> hazardous materials. Any hazardous materials discovered in this procedure shall be handled <br /> as per Step Nos. 5 - 7 above. <br /> Step No. 9 - During and subsequent to Step No. 8 above, the laborers and the <br /> operators of the frontend loader and backhoe shall continue to remove any subsurface <br /> materials that may be exposed pursuant to Step No. 8 above. It is anticipated that the <br /> contractor and subcontractor shall screen the layers that contain uncontaminated soil and <br /> debri. <br /> Step No. 10 - Upon completion of Step No. 9, operators of the frontend loader and <br /> the backhoe shall make test excavations to determine whether or not (and until) all <br /> subsurface non-natural materials have been removed from the Site. <br /> Ongoing.
