VII. POST REMOVAL. TESTING <br /> 1. After all materials have been removed from the Site, the Owner/Operator, <br /> contractor, a representative of the Public Health Services Environmental Division, and a <br /> licensed hydrologist shall review what materials were placed in HMHA#l, the amounts of <br /> soils that were placed in HMHA#2, and shall visually inspect the Site. <br /> 2. The parties shall then mutually agree to the number and locations of sample <br /> borings to be taken. Each sample shall be tested for the presence of any hazardous <br /> material that was found at the Site. Tests shall be required for any chemical or element <br /> that originated in the settling ponds referenced above. Should any significant level of <br /> hazardous material be detected, the Owner/Operatorshall remove the contaminated soil and <br /> retest the area. <br /> 3. In the event that significant contamination of ground water is discovered,the <br /> Owner/Operator shall institute those corrective measures necessary to remedy and remove <br /> the contamination as per the requirements of the Regional Water Quality Control Board. <br /> 15 <br />
