Duren ; the meeting Mr. Rowe <br /> requested that the follo\+ inu tasks be conducted : <br /> Task I Prepare a work plan for the installation and sampling of nvo soil borings. The soil borincs will <br /> be installed to meet the provisions of- the California Underground Siorsge Tank Clean- Up Fund <br /> ( UST-CF ) for pre-approval of corrective action costs . The provisions were included in the <br /> LIST-CF letter to von . dated October 231 1997 . One boring is to be located s\ ithin the WE <br /> well arras. to investigate current contaminant soil plume conditions. The second boring will <br /> lie located to the northeast of the WE well arra \ and be used to investigate soil and <br /> eroundwatcr conditions in the down Lradient direction . "file borines will most likch' be <br /> advanced to at least 70 feet bclo\+ the ground surface. Soil samples will be collected from a <br /> continuos soil sampler above the water table . Soil and groundwater samples will be collected <br /> simultancoush in the saturated zone at each significanth' different lithological unit using a <br /> Sinndprohc Sampling device. ltifortrmicn !ssined from file bovine will he used to confirm the <br /> effectiveness of the SVE system currenth being installed at the site and assist in desiening the <br /> additional monitor wells discussed in Task 3 . <br /> Task ? . Install the soil vapor extraction ( SVE) system for interim remediation as quickly and <br /> efficiently as possible.
