FINDINGS <br /> Soil descriptions were utilized to construct the vertical and lateral soil model, laboratory analysis of <br /> soil and ground water samples was utilized to assess the hydrocarbon-impact on the two media <br /> I <br /> . 31 ,STRATIGRAPHY <br /> Based on the findings from the CPT soil borings, Cross Section A-A' and B-B' were constructed to <br /> depict general lithology beneath the site (Figures 3 and 4) Generally, the subsurface of the site from <br />' surface grade to approximately 60 feet bsg, was comprised mainly of silt, sandy silt, clayey silt, silty <br /> clay and clay Poorly graded sand, gravelly sand and silty sand were encountered from approximately <br /> 12 feet to 16 feet, 19 feet to 20 5 feet and 39 feet to 40 feet bsg in boring CPT-1, from 13 feet to 17 <br /> feet and 37 feet to 43 feet bsg in boring CPT-2, from 12 feet to 25 5 feet and 39 feet to 42 feet bsg' <br /> in boring CPT-3 and from 40 feet to 43 feet bsg in boring CPT-4 Copies of the CPT <br />' computer-generated boring logs are included in Appendix A- <br />' 3 2 LABORATORY RESULTS OF "GRAB" GROUND WATER SAMPLES <br /> A total of four "grab" ground water samples were collected from CPT-1 through CPT-4 and <br />' submitted for laboratory analysis for the above mentioned constituents <br /> TPH-g was not detected at or above laboratory reporting limits in water samples collected from <br />' CPT-1 through CPT-4 BTEX compounds were detected in the water sample collected from CPT-2 <br /> at a depth of 39 to 43 feet bsg at concentrations of 10 microgram per liter(,ug/l) benzene, 1 3 ,ug/l <br /> toluene, 0 60,ug/l ethylbenzene and 2 1 µg/I total xylenes Benzene was detected in the water sample <br />' collected from CPT-1 at a depth of 38 to 42 feet bsg at a concentration of 0 67 ,ug/l <br /> i <br />' Advanced GeoEnvironmental,Inc <br /> 1 <br />
