SECTION 3 - DRAWINGS, SPECIFICATIONS AND PERMITS <br /> Three sets of contract drawings and specifications will be furnished to the Contractor <br /> without charge. Additional sets will be furnished on request at the cost of reproduction. <br /> The Contractor shall procure all permits and licenses, pay all charges and fees, and give <br /> all notices necessary for lawful prosecution of the work. All permits, licenses, and other <br /> authorizations shall be secured in sufficient time to prevent delays to the work. The <br /> Contractor shall comply with the provisions of said permits, licenses and other <br /> authorizations. <br /> The Contractor is responsible for obtaining a copy of the Standard Specifications for <br /> Public Works Construction "Greenbook" 1994 edition (SSPWC), State of California <br /> Department of Transportation Standard Specifications and, Standard Plans July 1992, <br /> and any and all other reference specifications and manuals cited in these Contract <br /> Documents. <br /> V <br /> Full compensation for conforming to the requirements of this section, not otherwise <br /> provided for, shall be considered as included in the prices paid for the various contract <br /> items of work involved and no additional compensation will be allowed. <br /> SECTION 4 - GENERAL PREVAILING RATE OF PER DIEM WAGES <br /> The Contractor is hereby notified that pursuant to Section 1770 et. seq. of the Labor <br /> Code of the Statutes of the State of California, the City Council of the City of Tracy has <br /> +� ascertained the general prevailing rate of per diem wages and the rates for legal holiday <br /> and overtime work for the locality in which the work is to be performed, for each craft or <br /> type of workman or mechanic needed to execute the Contract which will be awarded the <br /> +� successful bidder. <br /> Full compensation for conforming to the requirements of this section, not otherwise <br /> provided for, shall be considered as included in the prices paid for the various contract <br /> items of work involved and no additional compensation will be allowed. <br /> 4. SECTION 5 - PRECONSTRUCTION CONFERENCE <br /> Subsequent to the execution of the project contract, the City shall designate a date and <br /> �,. time for the pre-construction conference. The Contractor shall, at the pre-construction <br /> conference, present a project construction schedule, anticipated timing of invoices for <br /> work completed, a list of material suppliers, and a traffic control plan required by Section <br /> �. 7.11 of the City of Tracy Standard Specifications.
