w <br /> SECTION 11 - RIGHT-OF-WAYS AND CONSTRUCTION EASEMENTS <br /> The project site is contained entirely on property or right-of-way owned by the City of <br /> Tracy. The Contractor shall make special arrangements for a field office and storage area. <br /> No equipment or storage of materials will be allowed to remain within the right-of-way <br /> limits of adjacent streets after construction hours, on the weekends, or holidays. <br /> The Contractor shall confine his construction operations to property or right-of-way owned <br /> by the City of Tracy. If necessary, the Contractor shall, at his own cost and initiative, make <br /> special arrangements with the property owners for additional work area. Any damage to <br /> ` property, either inside or outside the limits of construction, shall be the responsibility of the <br /> Contractor. The Contractor will be required to furnish the City, prior to working outside the <br /> City's property, written releases from property owners where side arrangements or special <br /> easements have been made or where the Contractor's operations, for any reason, have <br /> not been kept within the property owned by the City. <br /> SECTION 12 - PROGRESS MEETINGS <br /> The Contractor, and subcontractor(s) if requested by the City, shall attend weekly <br /> progress meetings that will be scheduled by the Engineer. <br /> Full compensation for conforming to the requirements of this section, not otherwise <br /> provided for, shall be considered as included in the prices paid for the various contract <br /> items of work involved and no additional compensation will be allowed. <br /> �- SECTION 13 - PRESERVATION OF PROPERTY <br /> Due care shall be exercised to avoid damage to existing roadway improvements, <br /> utilities, adjacent property, and roadside trees and shrubbery that are not to be <br /> removed. The Contractor's attention is directed to Section 5.02 of the City of Tracy <br /> Standard Specifications. <br /> Access to the site(s) will be over public and/or private streets. The Contractor shall <br /> exercise care in the use of such streets and any damage to those streets caused by his <br /> L. operations shall be repaired in a timely manner, at his expense, and to the satisfaction <br /> of the Engineer. <br /> s <br /> iw Roadside trees and shrubbery that are not to be removed, and pole lines, fences, signs, <br /> survey markers and monuments, buildings and structures, conduits, pipe lines under or <br /> above ground, sewer and water lines, all roadway facilities, and any other improvements <br /> or facilities within or adjacent to the project shall be protected from injury or damage <br /> and, if ordered by the Engineer, the Contractor shall provide and install suitable <br /> safeguards approved by the Engineer, to protect such objects from injury or damage. if <br /> 4, such objects are injured or damaged by reason of the Contractor's operations, they shall <br /> be replaced or restored, at the Contractor's expense, to a condition as good as when <br /> the Contractor entered upon the work, or as good as required by the Contract <br /> 54 Documents, if any such objects are a part of the work being performed under the <br /> Contract. <br /> DIVISION II-5 Special Requirements <br /> bw <br />
