L Litems of work involved and no additional compensation will be allowed. SECTION 15 - NO PARKING SIGNS L The Contractor shall furnish and install "No Parking" signs within the project site as necessary. These signs shall be placed at least 48 hours prior to the scheduled j Lconstruction work. These signs will bear the "No Parking" time limits, dates and name of the Contractor. For any violation of.these "No Parking" signs by the citizens, the Contractor will contact the City's Police Department for removal of vehicles in accordance with California Vehicle Code. Location and duration of no parking limits shall be approved by the Engineer. All "No Parking" signs shall be stamped/signed by Engineer before posting. " No Parking" signs shall be removed when no work is under L , construction and reposted before resumption of construction activities. Full compensation for conforming to the requirements of this section, not.',otherwise provided for, shall be considered as included in the prices paid for the various contract items of work involved and no additional compensation will be allowed.. SECTION 16 - DUST AND NOISE CONTROL At all times, including weekends and holidays, during construction and until final completion and acceptance of the work, the contractor shall comply with the City Dust Control Ordinance and prevent the formation of an airborne dust nuisance by watering as required by the Engineer, and to treat the site of the work in such a manner that it will confine dust particles to the immediate surface of the work. The Contractor shall perform such treatment immediately during construction hours and within two (2)hours after notification by the Engineer that the airborne nuisance exists. If the',•Contractor falls to remove the nuisance within the above time frame, the City may order that the treatment of the site be done by City personnel and equipment or by others. All expenses incurred in the performance of this treatment shall be charged ',to the Co6tractor. The cost shall be paid for by the Contractor separately or be deducted from L the periodic payments to the Contractor as such costs are incurred by the City. The Contractor shall make every reasonable effort to control noise generated as a result of this construction to the satisfaction of the Engineer. Use of air compressor, jack hammer and other vibrating and loud sound generating equipment shall be limited to between the hours of 7:30 a.m. and 4:30 p.m. unless otherwise authorized by the L� Engineer. All hauling trucks or other construction vehicles leaving the site shall be cleaned of mud or L dirt clinging to exterior body surfaces or wheel rims before traveling on City streets outside the work limits. All trucks coming to or leaving the site with materials or loose debris shall be loaded in a manner which will prevent dropping of materials or debris on City streets. L Spillage resulting from hauling operations along or across any public traveled way shah be removed immediately at the Contractor's expense. The Contractor's attention is directed to Section 7.09, "Project Site Maintenance".of the City of Tracy Standard Specifications for compliance with the City's dust''control lL L requirements.
