7.4 Reporting
Consultant will prepare a SVE Pilot Test report after the test activities are completed and the data
have been analyzed. The report will include the results of the pilot test analyses and interpretations
of parameters associated with the operating conditions. The report will be presented in the following
format:
• Introduction
o Background
o Objectives
• Equipment
o Wells and Piping
• Test Wells
• Observation and Monitoring Wells
o Vapor Collection System
o Vapor Pretreatment System
o Vapor Treatment System
o Groundwater Air Sparge System
o Monitoring Equipment and Instrumentation
• Monitoring and Data Collection
• Results and Discussion
o Physical Parameters
o Chemical Parameters
• Conclusions and Recommendations
• Appendices
o Laboratory Analytical Reports
o System Parameter Monitoring Sheets
o Boring and Well Installation Logs
The information from the SVE Pilot Test will subsequently be used in a Remediation Feasibility
Study(RFS).The RFS report will include the results of pilot testing, and evaluate the viability of the
remedial strategy in terms of the nine USEPA criteria(overall protection of human health and the
environment; compliance with ARARs; long-term effectiveness and permanence; reduction of
toxicity, mobility, or volume through treatment; short-term effectiveness; implementability; cost,
state acceptance; and community acceptance). Additionally, the "no-action alternative" will be
evaluated as recommended in the National Contingency Plan guidelines. The final remediation
system design will be provided in a Remedial Action Plan (RAP) that will be submitted to the
RWQCB for review and approval.
M ain\D:AEnvironmenta1\LN CV\10152007.wpd 57
