1 <br /> ■VZ1 INC <br /> ' 90 HEALTH AND SAFETY <br /> ' Drillingand laboratory contractors will complete all work in accordance with the site <br /> rY p <br /> health and safety plan as approved by WZI <br /> ' Drilling and laboratory contractor shall ensure that each employee, while on the project <br /> site, shall wear the protective clothing and use all equipment specified in the site <br /> safety plan <br /> ' All personnel engaged in field investigation work will be trained for such activity <br /> Training will include, but is not limited to, use of personal protective equipment <br /> ' (including respirators), decontamination, hazard recognition, safe operating <br /> procedures, and emergency response <br /> 1 <br /> Ambient air concentrations are not expected to exceed the permissible levels as <br /> defined in 29 CFR 1910 120 and 29 CFR 1910 134 In the event that ambient air <br /> ' monitoring exceeds these permissible levels, Level C protection will be required if <br /> Level C is required, all contractor personnel working on the site will be required to <br /> ' meet the OSHA requirements 29 CFR 1910 120 and 29 CFR 1910 134 <br /> Both drilling and laboratory contractors shall provide certification that provisions of 29 <br /> CFR 1910 120 and 29 CFR 1910 134 have been met for all employees onsite if <br /> ' respirator use becomes necessary If this cannot be provided, contractors will, at the <br /> instruction of WZI, take immediate and prudent actions to shut down and leave this <br /> ' sampling location <br /> ' Throughout the performance of this scope of work, drilling and laboratory contractors <br /> will, at a minimum, fully comply with Level D protection requirements To adequately <br /> ' protect personnel in the areas of higher potential contaminant exposure, Level C <br /> protection equipment may be required <br /> APPENDIX Ill <br /> ' 12270020 025 19 <br />
