Site Health and Safety Plan <br /> ENSAFE RS&H <br /> Stockton Metropolitan Airport, Stockton, California <br /> January 27, 2020 <br /> 6.0 ROLES AND RESPONSIBILITIES <br /> Everyone plays a role in the safety process while on an EnSafe site. Listed below are the <br /> basic responsibilities for key positions or groups of employees on our job sites. <br /> 6.1 Corporate Health and Safety Manager <br /> • Ensure all management and affected employees are aware of the EnSafe Safety Management <br /> System and enforce the same <br /> • Reviews and approves the site health and safety plan (HASP) <br /> • Coordinates incident investigations or other reports pertaining to site EHS systems <br /> 6.2 Project Manager <br /> • Prepares and organizes the background review of the work plan <br /> • Initiates and leads development of the HASP for site work activities <br /> • Obtains permission for the site access and coordinates activities with <br /> governmental representatives <br /> • Ensures that work plan is completed and on schedule <br /> • Ensures compliance with the HASP <br /> • Supports the Site Safety and Health Officer (SSHO) or designated representative to ensure <br /> that safety and health requirements are met <br /> • Prepares the final reports and support files on the field activities <br /> 6.3 Site Safety and Health Officer <br /> The SSHO or designated representative (e.g., the Site Supervisor) reports all site-specific safety <br /> issues and concerns to the Project Manager and/or the EnSafe Corporate Health and Safety Manager. <br /> The SSHO is responsible for daily implementation of the HASP, including such issues as <br /> Personal Protective Equipment (PPE), training, policy enforcement, health monitoring, and report <br /> preparation, among others. The SSHO is also responsible for decontamination procedures, <br /> equipment, and supplies. Other responsibilities include the following: <br /> • Ensures protective clothing is consistent with the requirements of the HASP <br /> • Periodically inspects protective clothing and equipment <br /> • Ensures that PPE is properly stored and maintained <br /> • Controls entry and exit of personnel in authorized areas <br /> • Coordinates safety and health program activities with onsite essential personnel <br /> • Confirms each crewmember's suitability for work based on a physician's recommendations <br /> 14 <br />
