The Discharger shall comply with the monitoring program provisions of Title 23 <br /> for groundwater, in accordance with Monitoring Specifications in Standard <br /> Provisions and Reporting Requirements (September 1993). <br /> 3. The Discharger shall operate and maintain a groundwater monitoring network <br /> that complies with the applicable provisions of Title 23 §2550.7 and in <br /> accordance with this MRP as approved by the Executive Officer. The <br /> Discharger shall collect, preserve, and transport groundwater samples in <br /> accordance with the approved LLNL Livermore Site and Site 300 <br /> Environmental Restoration Project Standard Operating Procedures, dated June <br /> 1 1997 (UCRL-MA-109 1 15 Rev. 3 and future revisions). <br /> 4. The Discharger shall determine the groundwater flow rate and direction in the <br /> uppermost aquifer and in any zones of perched water and in any additional <br /> zone of saturation monitored pursuant to this MRP, and report the results <br /> quarterly, including the times of highest and lowest elevations of the water <br /> levels in the wells. <br /> 5. Groundwater samples shall be collected from the point-of-compliance wells, <br /> background wells, and any additional wells added as part of the approved <br /> groundwater monitoring network. Samples shall be collected in accordance <br /> with the methods and frequency specified in Table 1,and analyzed for the <br /> constituents of concern and monitoring parameters as specified in Tables 2, 3 <br /> and 4. <br /> 6. Annually, prior to the anticipated rainy season, but no later than <br /> 30 September, the Discharger shall conduct an inspection of the facility. The <br /> inspection shall assess damage to the groundwater monitoring equipment and <br /> diversion and drainage facilities, and shall include the Standard Observations <br /> contained in Section X11.5 of Standard Provisions and Reporting Requirements. <br /> The Discharger shall complete any necessary construction, maintenance, or <br /> repairs by 31 October. The Discharger shall submit with the Annual Report a <br /> description of the results of the inspection and the repair measures <br /> implemented, including photographs of the problem and the repairs. <br /> 7. The Discharger shall inspect all precipitation, diversion, and drainage facilities <br /> for damage within 7 days following major storm events. Necessary repairs <br /> shall be completed with in 30 days of the inspection. The Discharger shall <br /> report any damage and subsequent repairs in the first quarterly report following <br /> the completion of the repairs. The report shall include photographs before and <br /> after the repairs. <br />
