r06 June 2000
AGE-NC Project No 97-0343
rPage 4 of 7
r2 8 WELL CASING ELEVATION SURVEYING
On 26 April 2000, the casing elevations of wells MWI, MW2, MW3, VW1, VW2 and VW3 were
r surveyed to the nearest 0 01-foot relative to City of Stockton bench mark No 346 Surveying was
performed by Baumback&Piazza, Inc of Lodi (Table 2) The survey report sheets are included in
Appendix E
r
2 9 RECEPTOR SURVEY
rA search was conducted to locate wells and other sensitive receptors within a 2,000-foot search
radius of the subject property The City of Stockton and California Water Service were contacted
rregarding the location of municipal wells near the subject property The California Department of
Water Resources database and the San Joaquin County Flood Control and Water Conservation
District maps were also examined Records for a receptor survey performed for a site located
rapproximately 1,500 feet south of the subject property were examined A door-to-door inquiry and
visual search were then performed for the 2000-foot search radius
lie
3.0. FINDINGS
' A model of the soil stratigraphy on the site was constructed from the field descriptions of soil sample
duplicates, the hydrocarbon impact to soil and ground water was modeled and quantified by
' laboratory analysis of samples collected as described above
' 31 STRATIGRAPHY
Silty fine sand was encountered in each bonng at a depth of 20 feet bsg Silty sand was encountered
' in bonngs MW2 and MW3 at depths of 30 and 35 feet bsg and in boring B6 at a depth of 35 feet bsg
Primarily clay to clayey silt was encountered in the remaining samples collected The boring logs
are included as Appendix A
32 ANALYTICAL RESULTS OF SOIL SAMPLES
' vapor
Organic was detected with the PID in borings MW I, MW2 and MW3 at concentrations as
g p g
high as 1,200 ppm (MW2 at 25 feet bsg) Organic vapor was not detected in soil samples collected
' from B6, in samples collected below a depth of 40 feet in MW 1 or in samples collected from depths
. of 50 and 55 feet bsg in boring MW3 PID data is included on the boring logs (Appendix A)
rAdvanced GeoEnvironmental,Inc
r
