Spong serves as the primary interface between ERM and EFAWEST <br /> and NCS personnel. In addition, Mr. Spong has the primary <br /> responsibility for ensuring that the project is conducted in accordance <br /> with the facility's needs, proper technical protocols, and applicable <br /> regulations. <br /> Quality Assurance Officer <br /> Mr. Truong Mai will serve as Quality Assurance Officer. Mr. Mai will <br /> review project plans and revisions to the plans to ensure that they <br /> maintain project quality. Mr. Mai will take responsibility for the <br /> development, evaluation, and documentation of the QA/QC program <br /> and will coordinate with the Site Investigation Leader to ensure that <br /> field activities are carried out in accordance with the QA/QC program. <br /> Mr. Mai will assume responsibility for all data processing activities, <br /> data processing quality control, and data quality review. <br /> The Quality Assurance Officer (as well as the Project Manager) carries <br /> additional responsibility for ensuring that all personnel have a good <br /> understanding of the project QA/QC program, an understanding of <br /> their respective roles relative to one another, and an appreciation of <br /> the importance of these roles to the overall success of the program. <br /> Field QA/QC Responsibilities <br /> Implementation of the field activities at NCS in accordance with the RI <br /> Workplan is the responsibility of the: <br /> • Site Investigation Leader; <br /> • Safety Coordinator; and <br /> • Site Health and Safety Officer. <br /> Specific responsibilities of each of these individuals are described <br /> below. <br /> Site Investigation Leader <br /> Mr. Steve Becker will serve as the Site Investigation Leader. In this <br /> role, Mr. Becker will be responsible for implementing field activities in <br /> accordance with the RI Workplan and for supervising all day-to-day <br /> field-related activities.
