The Navy must demonstrate that <br /> they and the sump sample results do not contain constituents at concentrations <br /> which can pose a threat to water quality before Site SJ can be closed. <br /> Response: It is the Navy's intent to document no further action for the sump if no <br /> contaminants above levels of concern are detected in soils beneath the sump. <br /> No further action for cleanup of groundwater will not be pursued at this time. <br /> Future actions (if necessary) will be taken to address remaining soil or <br /> groundwater contamination beneath the sump.
