investigations , and proposals for interim or final remedial actions. The <br /> Chairperson will be responsible for notifying all members of scheduled <br /> meetings. The Navy will supply personnel to take and distribute meeting <br /> minutes. <br /> B. Independent working meetings between the staffs of regulatory agencies <br /> and the Navy will continue to occur, as needed, to discuss day-to-day <br /> progress of the RI/FS. Significant recommendations affecting proposed <br /> actions , if any, resulting from these meetings will be addressed at <br /> subsequent TRC meetings. <br /> V. COMMUNITY RELATIONS <br /> The Navy has developed a comprehensive Community Relations Program described <br /> in the Community Relations Plan (CRP) . The TRC is intended to supplement <br /> that community relations effort, not to replace it. The CRY has proposed <br /> several methods for providing information to the community and for responding <br /> to questions and concerns from the community; ' the TRC is one discrete <br /> element of that overall effort. Material provided to the TRC will be <br /> supplemented with information and comments received through the Community <br /> Relations Program, and when appropriate, the TRC meeting may be combined with <br /> a public community meeting. <br /> VI . DECISIONAL AUTHORITY <br /> The TRC serves as an advisory body to the Navy on the Installation <br /> Restoration Program at Naval Communication Station Stockton. The selection <br /> and implementation of any remedial action will be in accordance with <br /> applicable state and federal laws. Membership and representation on this <br /> advisory body shall not, by itself , be construed as in any way limiting the <br /> legal rights , obligations , or authority of nay limiting the legal rights , <br /> obligations , or authority of any of the individual representatives or the <br /> groups and agencies which they represent. <br />
