Generous amounts of decontamination solution <br /> ( detergent/water solution) and long-handled , soft- <br /> bristled scrub brushes should be used to completely <br /> wash suit and safety boots. Care should be exercised <br /> that no water is allowed into the SCBA regulator. It <br /> is suggested that the SCBA regulator be wrapped in <br /> plastic . <br /> Needed Equipment: Container ( thirty to fifty gallons) , <br /> decontamination solution (detergent/water solution) , <br /> two or three long-handled , soft bristled scrub brushes, <br /> small buckets , sponge or cloth , and , if possible, a <br /> portable sprayer. <br /> Step 8 - Suit/Safety Boot Rinse <br /> Thoroughly rinse off all decontamination solution from <br /> protective clothing . <br /> Needed Equipment : Container ( thirty to fifty gallons) , <br /> high-pressure spray unit, water, small buckets , two or <br /> three long-handled , soft bristled scrub brushes, and <br /> sponges or cloths . <br /> i <br />
